Good thing Thorton gave us 7 good scoreless minutes in the first half.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Crowder reminds me of Mario Elie.

Can we start a Kickstarter to give to Jae Crowder if he promises that he will shoot 500 three point shots every practice to improve his 3PT shooting?

I really feel like he's a consistent 3PT away from being a good player.

Why Cleveland picked Tristan Thompson over Jonas Valanciunas still baffles me.

Was Raptors willing to give Jonas? He's one of the most important players on the team.

OK, guys I see your point, I also wish we had CP3 or Stockton. But give Smart time, patience and love.
He is a hustler, a good defender, and learning how to play the PG at NBA level. He's only 20 and this is his rookie season. Nothing wrong with appreciating his effort.

We got spoiled with the expectation, that's why. He does need time, but part of me thinks that if he should be good, he should have shown glimpses by now. There's not really a ton of those.

The injury and not being a top dog has hurt those glimpses. Since the Rondo trade he's looked much better and more confident. Wiggins only really started to shine in Minny after getting comfortable and being forced into a more primary role. I think he'll come around, but we'll really start to see his potential when he's finally handed the keys to the team next year.
Yes totally agree.  He is coming around.

Zeller has at least 4 turnovers.

Fixed. You need a good GM to make the right decisions. Not all teams have one  ;D

Are the refs waiting to see blood to blow the whistle?

I meant in the draft. There was talk about his buyout contract, but everybody thought that Valanciunas is a better prospect, and Cavs took Thompson over him.

I bet Evan Turner has not taken a charge his whole career.

The only thing playing Thornton is going to do is make other teams see how horribly he is playing.  I don't see how Thornton is much of an upgrade over Young, especially knowing Young is a part of our future and Thornton is not.

Thorton is an undersized SG that Stevens has got at sf. That's going to work out well.

Maybe it's because Varajao was healthy at that time?
