The scouting report on Thornton is he is a streak shooter. The NBA has known this for years. When he's hot, you ride the hot hand. But when he is cold, like tonight, you put his butt on the bench. Because he won't stop shooting.
I'd love to see him drive to the basket more.

Me too. Just with the notion of getting fouled. Paul Pierce style.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I was one of those people who believed that Indiana would be able to hold it somewhat together without Paul George and make the playoffs as a 7 or 8 seed this year.  They look almost as bad as we do in this game.
