TP for the highlights, as another poster said.  Just for future reference, btw, you only have to copy and paste the url of a youtube video in a forum post and it will show up exactly as it is here, albeit without the other text.

Lot of love for Young today... But next game if he goes 1 for 7 and flat out gets man handled everyone will want him back to the D-League to keep building. Not jumping to any conclusion yet but he is a nice player and might as well play him through his ups-and-downs in the NBA rather than the D-League. But the question is will he get the minutes with the guard heavy roster?

Not me.  Such an outing would simply indicate the obvious - that he needs A LOT more time to get to the point where he won't get manhandled, to use your words.

It's exciting to have a guy with this kind of potential. It was smart to wait to get him in there IMO. It is tough for a rookie to miss most of training camp and have a good season, thank goodness for the D-league.

The trade deadline can't come soon enough. Need to get rid of a lot of this dead weight on the team and open up time for the young guys. It is clear now that Rondo is gone we are going to go with a youth movement. So the team should just go with it ASAP, I'd like to see these players getting 25+ minutes a game:

Smart
Young
AB - can't believe I'm saying this but if we keep him he's young and needs the minutes
Crowder
KO
Sully
Zeller

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Nice stroke but still quite lost on defense.

Doesn't really have anything close to NBA handles (yet) to break down defenders with the dribble so soon enough teams will adjust and stick their best perimeter defender on him to smother.

He's clearly got the potential to be an elite shooter, and he's not afraid to shoot.
I just hope that he's got the heart to work on the other 75% of his game like Marcus Smart does.

Good to have Marcus Smart in the locker room with guys like Young to keep pushing him.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Too bad we can't combine our players into hybrids.   Imagine Young's height and shot with Marcus's D and hustle, Sully hands and rebounding with Wrights athletic ability and Crowders effort with Green's athletic ability.   Boy our guys are flawed half players.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I thought Young's defense was pretty good.  I don't recall him getting lost or anything like that.

This is off topic but I was just listening to music...

I came across a pic of 2Pac and my first thought was "yeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh that's who Young reminds me of!!"

I have been trying to place who JY looks like for a while. Maybe I'm the only one, does anyone else see the resemblance?

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
