It's really too bad Pressey does not have a consistent jump shot. Could be a real annoying small player to deal with like Barera

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
It's like Olynyk and Sullinger just take turns being completely lost for a while, then looking really promising again.

About time for a ...major letdown......Gasol taking over and Brookes nailing threes like a machine gun.

Man, I love Smart. That kid has such good defensive instincts for as young as he is.

ET has made up the crappy play in the 2nd quarter.  His height/size killing hinrich

I would really like to see James Young get a chance.
27 in tonight's game for Maine.

Man, that kid consistently kills it in Maine.
9 of 14 from field tonight.

5-9 from 3.  I can't wait to see him either.
Replay's on Youtube.  After we blow this game, it might help me sleep better to watch that one...

Stevens finally mixing it up a little.  Double teaming Pau in the post.  We saw some switching on the PnRs last night too.

I think we just have to accept that Stevens is going to spend much of his 6-year deal simply learning how to be an NBA coach.  He may turn out to be pretty good but there's going to be a lot of growing pains getting there.

Mike

Maybe he'll get a decent roster someday.  The only NBA coach who would potentially envy our collection of current players is Brett Brown.  And that would be short-lived if he ever had to coach them.

I don't know why this has to be repeated so often, but Green, Bass and Bradley would be rotation guys on even the best teams in the league.  Wright and Crowder were rotation guys on one of the best teams in the league.  Zeller has looked great and Turner has looked just as good but not as consistently.  Thornton is a proven vet.  KO, Smart and Sully have all shown a lot of promise.

This is not a great collection of talent.  But comparing it to the Sixers is dumb.

Mike
we definitely have a better roster than Philly.  unfortunately our roster is loaded with role players.  they'd be solid contributors on a better team but the sad truth is the sum of these parts is less than the whole
Yes this is a great roster except we are missing the top 5 guys.
not sure why you think it's a great roster regardless of missing the top 5 guys.
It was a joke, but it is true.  I would take a bench of Turner, Bradley, Green, Sullinger and Zeller, wouldn't you?
if that was our bench and our starters were notably better players than them, we'd be a team capable of a deep playoff run
You, since we are dreaming. Just don't see how Ainge is going to get there. This team looks to be bad for a long time.
sadly, I agree

I didn't know what to think about Sully or Kelly at the start of the year, and I am no closer to a conclusion 30 games in.   Sully looks good the last couple of games; Kelly looks terrible.

And he is still better than Nelson.

And yet I still prefer to watch him play rather than Nelson.

Nelson last night looked like a guy playing in an Over 40 rec league.

They flip-flop. I dont' think I remember a game they both played really well, which just provides further evidence that they can't realy coexist.
