ET has made up the crappy play in the 2nd quarter.  His height/size killing hinrich

I would really like to see James Young get a chance.

Yeah ...short little Brooks gets way too many shots off for liking.

Celtics have played well against Chicago this year. I am a bit surprised. I pushed Evan Turner's buttons a bit earlier this thread.

Stevens finally mixing it up a little.  Double teaming Pau in the post.  We saw some switching on the PnRs last night too.

I think we just have to accept that Stevens is going to spend much of his 6-year deal simply learning how to be an NBA coach.  He may turn out to be pretty good but there's going to be a lot of growing pains getting there.

Mike

Maybe he'll get a decent roster someday.  The only NBA coach who would potentially envy our collection of current players is Brett Brown.  And that would be short-lived if he ever had to coach them.

I don't know why this has to be repeated so often, but Green, Bass and Bradley would be rotation guys on even the best teams in the league.  Wright and Crowder were rotation guys on one of the best teams in the league.  Zeller has looked great and Turner has looked just as good but not as consistently.  Thornton is a proven vet.  KO, Smart and Sully have all shown a lot of promise.

This is not a great collection of talent.  But comparing it to the Sixers is dumb.

Mike
we definitely have a better roster than Philly.  unfortunately our roster is loaded with role players.  they'd be solid contributors on a better team but the sad truth is the sum of these parts is less than the whole
Yes this is a great roster except we are missing the top 5 guys.
not sure why you think it's a great roster regardless of missing the top 5 guys.
It was a joke, but it is true.  I would take a bench of Turner, Bradley, Green, Sullinger and Zeller, wouldn't you?
if that was our bench and our starters were notably better players than them, we'd be a team capable of a deep playoff run

Speaking of Young, does anyone know how Young did in Maine today?

Good job. Good effort so far. Can the Celtics find another road win here? The Celtics overall point differential this season suggests they should have a better record than they do.

Mirotic is a nice player. WOW, KO just got away with a blatant backcourt violation lol

EDIT: Maybe not. He didn't go all of the way over.

Bulls got cap space to sign all players to big contracts ?

It's still a soft cap. So yes. And their books don't look too bad in 2 years.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I am thinking of changing it to mimic Pinocchio in the Gieco Commercial. But I said that thinking of what the NBA did to poor Seattle.
