Stevens finally mixing it up a little.  Double teaming Pau in the post.  We saw some switching on the PnRs last night too.

I think we just have to accept that Stevens is going to spend much of his 6-year deal simply learning how to be an NBA coach.  He may turn out to be pretty good but there's going to be a lot of growing pains getting there.

Mike

Hopefully it doesn't take quite as long as his whole contract.

ET is killing the Celtics.

Better to put back Pressey
Turner and Green are always so sloppy with the ball. They need to get traded.

very sloppy.   Especially tonight

Maybe he'll get a decent roster someday.  The only NBA coach who would potentially envy our collection of current players is Brett Brown.  And that would be short-lived if he ever had to coach them.

really?  you've openly advocated for the C's to be as bad as possible to improve that holy grail of franchise salvation --lottery odds.  most people would think you'd be happy with the play of Turner

That was a blatant foul on Noah on his 'strip' ::) of Turner, lol.  Anytime that dude tried to dribble, I want one of our guards to chase him down and knock the ball away from behind (oops, that sounds dirty, lol.), just to p1ss him off.

I don't know why this has to be repeated so often, but Green, Bass and Bradley would be rotation guys on even the best teams in the league.  Wright and Crowder were rotation guys on one of the best teams in the league.  Zeller has looked great and Turner has looked just as good but not as consistently.  Thornton is a proven vet.  KO, Smart and Sully have all shown a lot of promise.

This is not a great collection of talent.  But comparing it to the Sixers is dumb.

KO playing passive again.
And I'm really getting sick of watching him be passive.  This guy could benefit from a coach getting in his face and challenging him not to be perpetually soft.

we definitely have a better roster than Philly.  unfortunately our roster is loaded with role players.  they'd be solid contributors on a better team but the sad truth is the sum of these parts is less than the whole

It's a mismatched roster of mediocre talent.  We have no stars.  It's a bad team, simple as that.  It wasn't a direct comparison to the Sixers.

I didn't read the thread but...

I really like Jae. I hope we keep him for a while, need to see if he can get better... his defense has been spot on.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

15 OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS AND 12 TOs

When you watch opponents constantly just be able to run whatever they want offensively and get no resistance, guys who actually defend a little bit stand out.  That's why I think we notice him, but I really do like what I've seen so far.
