Speaking about Monta Ellis, he's on the books for 2 years for Avery Bradley type money ($8.3 million, $8.7 million)... just in case you wondered.

Wow.....ellis gets it done.....think they would trade straight up..LOL....We are stuck with AB...

CP# would have QUIT long ago....rondo never quit....CP# got other players fired..a coach fired......you don't know cp3.......did he lead the league in assists...?

CP3 chris paul

Yes. 3 time league leader in assist. But yeah, he wouldn't help this rebuilding team either. He's not even in the top 5 PG discussions this season.

you mean the guy who had his coach fired...then quit his team because he didn't like the town or the players...LOL....rondo didn't do that.....

Well, to be fair, Rondo halfhearted this season. But then again, if your GM says he will build around you but keep shopping you, I dont think it will be a surpriseif you dont give full effort due to uncertainty.

I'm not denying that. Maybe you misinterpreted my post. LOL. I don't want Chris Fraud on my team.

oh, sorry then TP..!!! I dislike CP3......he is good, but not the way I like..

Mudiay please.

How scary would a Mudiay/Smart backcourt be in a couple of years?

Well, there's a good chance we'll have the 4th most amount of ping pong balls this May, so I'm hopeful....

Though we don't necessarily need that position, I'd totally be happy if we come out with Mudiay. Apparently he's the real deal and has the highest ceiling of any prospect this draft.

Yeah I wonder if Ellis suffered from the stigma of smallish score first guards having the rep for not helping teams win, or if that's just something that nerds on blogs say. Either way, what a huge steal for a UFA.

Especially the bold part, it's hard if you don't really know if you're even part of the future, especially after drafting Smart. He's been shopped since he got in the league, he says it doesn't effect him, but I find that hard to believe.

I know you missed Rondo but so do I. Just be happy that he is on a championship contender. Come playoff time and he will prove his haters wrong. And when doing it, let's just hope that we finally hit those ping pong balls in the off season.

The Celtics have never moved up in the draft ever. They have only moved down and occasionally stayed where they are. Depending on the ping pong balls is a really scary proposition for Celtics fans.

I believe Ellis has a 9 million player option next year so he'll almost certainly opt out.

Ellis' contract  is a bargain, Bradley's is a burden.

Going against my tone lately of just being negative about most everything, I will say that ironically Smart has looked a lot better shooting from outside than he looked to me as recently as early in the season. He's up into the low 30's from 3.

The thing is, Rondo always would comment about how competitive he is and how much he wanted to win.  Talk is cheap.

Rondo was clearly mailing it in this season.  I don't see why there's such a huge uproar about his lack of effort now that he's been traded.

Did anyone notice how Tommy kept mentioning the defense of Bradley, Smart and Crowder but ignoring our bigs, even he thinks they suck on D.

We shot bad, so did Dirk, they have a lot more talent than we do.

Sully looked really fat in the gray uniform, I thought Moby Dick, made an appearanceat one point, always inspired to not see him run the court.  I guess Green and Black are slimming colors but gray sure as heck is not slimming.

He's looking to opt out after this year,  he wants to stay a Mav but get a longer and bigger contract.

The Bucks had offered Monta a lot more but he turned it down, when they weren't any other suitors for Monta for that type of $, the Bucks decided to go another way.

Let's just say that agent was fired.  LOL.
