I could actually see them parting with Cousins. If he's unhappy with the Kings and their owner wants them to run an uptempo system, maybe they deal him. I would give them 3-4 firsts in any deal for Cousins.

As you can perhaps tell from my sig, I'm a huge Cousins fan, and would love to have him as the center of our rebuild.  I'd give up Smart, Sully, KO and a handful of #1s. 

I just don't think the Kings will move him.  That said, it's unreal how stupid they were in firing Malone and handling it the way they did, so who knows?

This ts the guy we need.   Stevens has the soft tempter of a teacher.  Hiring KG as an assistant centers coach would be a nice touch.

Even if he did, what's his leverage?  He can't leave until the 2019 season.

The Kings would be stupid to trade him as of right now. There's a better chance that Sacramento can make this work with Cousins than trade him.

I would take Cousins over every single asset this team owns.  So will Sacramento.  He's not going anywhere.

If Cousins is available, it might require waiting until the off-season and the Celtics ending up with a top five pick to create a package that is attractive to Sacramento.  Would you give up the #3 pick in 2015, Sullinger, Young, a Nets pick, and Wallace's contract?
