Trade potential? Cousins Not Happy With The Kings, Wasn't Informed Of Malone Firing Or Corbin Signing:

both are sacramento kings writers:

Blake Ellington from sactown royalty on Twitter

With both his comments and demeanor DeMarcus Cousins doesn't appear to be happy anymore. That is a problem ladies and gentlemen.
3:01 PM - 30 Dec 2014

Jason Jones from the Sacramento Bee

DeMarcus Cousins said most players found out on the internet/social media that Tyrone Corbin would be their coach the rest of the season.
9:59 AM - 31 Dec 2014

Jason Jones: DeMarcus Cousins on Corbin's status: “I didn’t know. I didn’t know officially until last night either. That’s when a lot of us found out.” Twitter @mr_jasonjones

what can danny do?

I could actually see them parting with Cousins. If he's unhappy with the Kings and their owner wants them to run an uptempo system, maybe they deal him. I would give them 3-4 firsts in any deal for Cousins.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

These are the type of situations that Danny is counting on with all these Picks he's accumulating...SOMEBODY, some Top player is gonna ask out soon---and Danny will be all set, with the best package.

A problem and a key to keeping him happy and looking like the second coming of Shaquille is currently playing for the mavs.  A threesome of green cousins and rondo would be great.
But we can't think of such things.

I'd go all in for cousins as he is the (?) dominant young big in nba.  Only guy I'd try to hold onto from team to get him is kelly

Cousins is 24 years old, is signed to a long-term contract, and is having the second most statistically dominant season by a big man in the last decade.

I don't think that even teams as poorly managed as Sacramento would trade him.

As you can perhaps tell from my sig, I'm a huge Cousins fan, and would love to have him as the center of our rebuild.  I'd give up Smart, Sully, KO and a handful of #1s.

I just don't think the Kings will move him.  That said, it's unreal how stupid they were in firing Malone and handling it the way they did, so who knows?

This ts the guy we need.   Stevens has the soft tempter of a teacher.  Hiring KG as an assistant centers coach would be a nice touch. :)

He would have to demand a trade.

He would have to demand a trade.

Even if he did, what's his leverage?  He can't leave until the 2019 season.

DMC just signed a long term contract, why would they trade him?

The Kings would be stupid to trade him as of right now. There's a better chance that Sacramento can make this work with Cousins than trade him.

I would take Cousins over every single asset this team owns.  So will Sacramento.  He's not going anywhere.

If Cousins is available, it might require waiting until the off-season and the Celtics ending up with a top five pick to create a package that is attractive to Sacramento.  Would you give up the #3 pick in 2015, Sullinger, Young, a Nets pick, and Wallace's contract?
