Shroeder, based off of anecdotal observations.

Schroeder, because I've had my fill of missed free throws

Schroder. He's in his second year, third year? I don't watch the Hawks avidly but for whatever reason I've seen more of them in the past two years for whatever random reason. He's looked great. People love to say players can't shoot....if Schroder can't shoot than Payton is BLIND! Players are giving Payton loads of space and he isn't making them regret it. Schroder is.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

just for fun, sometimes it helps to actually have stats when comparing players.

schroder career ( 76 games, 17th pick)
pts  5.6
assts 2.5
fg% 42.9
ft% 72.9
3pt% 23.1

payton career ( 31 games, 10th pick)
pts  6.5
assts 5.1
fg% 39.3
ft% 45.7
3pt% 20

payton can pass better so far. but boy oh boy does his shooting need work. hack-a-payton will rule the 4th quarter in games.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Both suck

You want a serious talent ...why go,after scrub backups

Dragic or Jackson or Lowery if you are going to waste time and assets

I don't care for miniature guards .....no Isaiah Either

Valid point. I'm actually very anti-stats since basketball is a team sport and I feel players always need to sacrifice for others. BUT, I will play along because I think it's more valid to compare Schroder's stats from THIS year since last year was a very productive year for Teague (less time for Schroder to shine).

PTS: 9.0
ASSTS: 3.5
FG: 47.2%
FT: 76.6%
3PT: 22.2% (actually has regressed from last season so far)
MIN: 18.7

Meanwhile, Payton in about 3 more games this season than Dennis:

PTS: 6.5
ASSTS: 5.1
FG: 39.3%
FT: 45.7%
3PT: 20%
MIN: 24.8

At this points it's apples and oranges. I guess when one compares these two players what matters more is what type of situation are they entering. Is it as a backup on a good team with great players like Dennis's situation, or as a starter some nights on a bad team in Elfrid's case.
