againno scoring from Suli (did he get injured 9min play?!) and Green

I don't put that an them if its like in the MIA game - if you don't get the ball in position or in a fashion that you can score its not just your fault

I expected that after Rondo was traded - hard to claim that he didnt make a difference on the court ;)

I'd say we were better with Rondo.  We were just more caught in between as far as the direction of this team.  We'd play good some games. Other games not so much.  At least now we know the direction. I still wouldn't call the celtics  a bad team.  We have heart.  This team isn't devoid of talent either.  It's teh first game with guys like Nelson, Wright and Crowder.  It's going to take a bit to find roles etc..  We're below 500.  How about that?

Same ol team with or without rondo. He makes little difference in the net result.  Nice moral victory tonight. Very true to who we have been all season with or without rajon.

Once these new guys get adjusted I'd agree with that.  We actually looked better against minny.  We looked worse the last couple.  It was a fair deal that way. I have no issue with the trade as far as what we got.  It fit us as far as what we decided to do and we got pretty good value.

I'm not sick of this season though myself.  If you can't find something to enjoy with this team I don't know what to tell you.

So after every win people are going to start about how we're better without Rondo.

Every loss people are going to go on about how we miss Rondo.

I'm already sick of this season.

It's important to note that the Minny game happened prior to us trying to incorporate 3 guys who don't know our system.  The rotations in the 1st half tonight were all over the place.  Once Brad settled on a lineup, it calmed down and we made run.

Still, this team badly needs to consolidate some of these redundant parts.  Whose to say what our two best guards are right now.  It's really up in the air.  Jameer + Turner?  Smart + Bradley?  Smart + Bradley?  Jameer + Bradley?  Who knows.   Same with our bigs... Oly + Wright?  Oly + Zeller?  Sully + Zeller?  Sully + Wright?    It's a mess right now and we'll inevitably see players moved.

Until we consolidate, Stevens is going to basically fly by the seat of his pants throwing guys out there to see who might go on a run and earn additional minutes that night.  Problem is, it's been proven that players don't respond well to that.  They need defined roles and minutes rotations.  Playing with this hovering cloud of doubt causes anxiety.  The team was a complete mess in the 1st quarter.

Rondo is gondo...  A lot of posing going on too with the it's sad but a business stuff.  It's fine to be sad that he's gone.  DA himself said he was sad he was gone. But he's gone.  It's all stupid to me.  Too many people trying to prove a point or something.

Rondooooooooooo.  C's need to get mad imo.  I expect a lot of shifting of lineups but wouldn't hurt to see this team show a bit  more something.  one thing that bothers me is i want the focus to be on trying to win not drain the celtics.

Tommy and Draper get it.  Tommy is laughing. Draper wants them to get mad.  We show heart at the end of games but overall it's just not there for 4 quarters.  This team has heart.  But where is it?  That's my main concern with this team.    This is the  worst i've seen us and stuff has been beat into these guys head imo and mindsets and it's all a bunch of bs imo.  Too much talk.  Too much media everything in between.

Too many robot zombie people out there. Not enough emotion. C's are sleepwalking.  This isn't the time to be stoic.  These guys aren't robert parish yet and neither are you.

I appreciate guys  like smart are doing what is asked and trying to fit and doing their job, but at the same time we need more than that.

I was sick of the season about a month ago.  Couldn't watch any more games.  Since the trade...the Minny game was exciting.  Fortunately, I missed the missed the Miami game.  And, thought for sure this game was going to be a stinker.  Then, in the second half they started coming alive. Nelson, Wright and Crowder all looked great.  It's going to take time to adjust.  It was a fun game.
I agree, there will be things to enjoy about this team.  There was a lot energy on the defensive end and offensively these players are unselfish.
Only wish someone would help out from behind when the center takes a shot from the middle of key.  Nelson did it once, but was called for the foul.  And, it wasn't the center taking the shot as I recall.

Minny doesn't play defense and they're in full-on tank mode.  Most of their starters are injured and they're willing to trade any veteran of worth for next to nothing.  I'd say that win was meaningless but we'll probably end up regretting it come lottery time.

Mavs lost again tonight.

They will come to regret the trade.
