To Jazz: Sullinger, Young, ET, 1st round pick (non lotto)
To Celtics: Hayward, Gobert

Celtics lineup

Zeller/Gobert
KO/Bass/Powell
Green/ Thornton/Wallace
Hayward/AB/
Rondo/ Smart/Pressey

BS would be happy to get Hayward.  A consistent 20 ppg player and has the ability to score clutch points with less than 5.   Gobert would the rim protector the team can rely on.   I don't think he is being used correctly by the Jazz right now.

Jazz get Sullinger to pair up with his childhood buddy Burke who can use the motivation/boost right now.   The team can also give Exum more mins at the SG spot.

Jazz clearly isn't trading him. And why would they then give up Gobert..

Laughable trade.
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

Jazz loves Hayward. Case closed.
And you have the nerve to steal Gobert too?

Someone gettable from Utah is Kanter, maybe Burke in a year or so. Unfortunately reality is that only the unexciting guys few people want are actually available.

I think the jazz love winning more. Its not working with favors and hayward as the two main guys of the team

Oh, please.  They're only in the second year of their rebuild.  It's way too early to start talking about how Favors and Hayward aren't "working" as their core.

And explain exactly why they'd feel compelled to give up Gobert over Kanter.

I guess you need to look at your suggestion and ask yourself would YOU do it if you were THEM and not a Celtics fan.

Sully for Hayward? I think I would keep Hayward but I don't know how good Sully can be, I question how bad he wants to be the best he can be. I guess you could put the pick with this and I MIGHT look at it if I were them. Pick has to be good if it's going to be out of the lotto. Not sure I do it even then though and I'm not in love with Hayward. I mean, really, how much better is he than Green and we already have both G8 and Big Boy...

Now you put up ET and Young for Gobert? While I think Young is gonna be a steal when he fills out and gets some pt, if I am the Jazz, I wouldn't take the chance right now. I'd give Gobert more time (and watch Young). I like ET but I could pick him up without giving up Gobert, if I really wanted him. I would have picked up ET like the Celts did by not paying him much. Turner's play doesn't get him much more money on the open market, so far this season.

I don't do it if I'm either team. If I had to do the deal, I think Cs win right now... who knows what it will look like in about 1-2 seasons when Sully is trying to get paid through play and Young is getting his chance at some pt.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

So they bring in another PF and send out Gobert?

The Jazz thought enough of Hayward to give him a huge contract.  Why would they want an undersized PF who can't guard anyone and an unproven 18 year old?  Try selling that one to your fan base and advertisers....

BS would be happy to get Hayward.  A consistent 20 ppg player and has the ability to score clutch points with less than 5.   Gobert would the rim protector the team can rely on.   I don't think he is being used correctly by the Jazz right now.

I would give this trade a -5 in the 1 to 10 scale
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12

Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Mitch Richmond, Sam Jones, Dan Majerle, Bob Cousy, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp, Marcus Camby

No one thought the Jazz would be good this season, so I think your claim makes no sense. All they are looking for is developing their guys.

And how do the players from the Celtics help fix any of their problems?
