I'm just going to agree with this. However, no one expected him to have an Achilles situation based on his ankle. Now would be the time to give him 2 months off. When he's healthy, he can hit the gym and just practice shooting. When his Ankle/Heel is fully healed, no pun intended, then let him come back fresh and ready for the stretch run, whatever that may be.
I would guess reinjuring a different part of the same foot because you're overcompensating for something that  hasn't healed compeltely is decidedly not something "no one expected". This being said, there's little, if any, evidence that he's been rushed back.
