Is Danny on the phone trying to grab Lance from Charlotte and if you think he is what would we be giving up? To be honest from a basketball standpoint I would love to have him now it's the lockerroom rumors you hear about him that steers you away but I believe Boston is a laid back place to where we can bring lance down and get him off his high horse especially with the guys we have on our roster to settle him down(Brandon Bass, Gerald Wallace, Rajon Rondo, and Marcus Smart being the biggest X factor)

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Not a bad idea - I'm not crazy about the guy's personality, but if he can be had for not much more than AB, then I would be willing to make the swap. Lance has the ability to really light it up and his attitude can be a good thing in the right environment.

At the very least it would cut down the years on AB's contract. I like AB, but was hoping to see a little more from him this year. If we are going to be competitive, we need to upgrade at a couple of positions and SG kind of stands out.

Not only is he a clown, but he's not what we need at all.    Another guard that can't shoot?  No thanks.

Dang now I know when I got the busy tone when I tried to call this morning. Looks like the negotiations took a long time. And he still hasn't called me back  :'(

Yeah, for what he brings both good and bad I gotta say pass...we need a alpha scoring wing, but I don't think Lance is the guy.

Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;

Knucklehead, jackass, thug, trouble maker, these are some of the names i've heard that describes Lance. Indiana didn't want him bad enough to really pursue him when he was a free agent.
I can't see the Celtics being that desperate. No way.

I love Lance. But I am partial to dirt dogs.

He'd def make us tougher. And I invite any one to argue that he was the best player for the Pacers (and at times, on the court) against the Heat in the playoffs. He's a beast. If a team/coach feels they can tame him enough to the extent that his productivity outweighs his behavioral issues, he's a solid asset imo. The glaring problem is that his contract sucks, though.

Edit: Imagine what he would do, psychologically, to someone like Olynyk? Disastrous. But imagine what we would look like in the defensively (exclusively backcourt) with him and Smart on the floor together?

doubtful. the celtics don't compete in the tour de france.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

No, but we're in talks with Joey, Justin, and Chris Kirkpatrick

I don't think the locker room is strong enough to take on Stephenson. You've got vets who might have one foot out the door (Rondo, Green, Bass, Thornton), a young coach, and a bunch of kids. In a vacuum I like Stephenson and his contract better than Bradley but the fact that he can't shoot makes him a tough fit.

I wouldn't want Lance with Turner around here. Didn't they fought with each other when they are teammates in Indiana?
