Edit: Imagine what he would do, psychologically, to someone like Olynyk? Disastrous. But imagine what we would look like in the defensively (exclusively backcourt) with him and Smart on the floor together?

I'm with you there, a Smart & Lance backcourt would harass to no end. We're top 5 in scoring, but around the league worst in defense. AB for lance works out great, and maybe it'll make Olynyk a little bit tougher, because he is pretty...doughy.

I think DA is calling about lance. However I only think a deal happens if he can get him for cheap. This is not to say I want to see him in green, his attitude and Indy's lack of effort to retain him makes me very leery of him. I think he ultimately stats a hornet.

I hope not.  This kid is cancer in the locker room and is overrated.  Rather have Bradley to be honest and thats saying something.  Dont want any toxic players in a young locker room.

Not sure what we'd do with him. He's paid as much as Jeff Green, except he's not as good. Honestly, I'd rather have Bradley instead of him, because as much as I hate Bradley's game, he's at least shown the ability to be a reliable, if limited, contributor.

I'd do Wallace and Philly 1st* for Lance then flip Lance and Fav to Pistons or Bucks for Smith/Sanders. Smith/Sanders would give C's a big that can defend which team needs badly.

Knucklehead, jackass, thug, trouble maker, these are some of the names i've heard that describes Lance. Indiana didn't want him bad enough to really pursue him when he was a free agent.
I can't see the Celtics being that desperate. No way.

I went to HS with Lance in Lincoln.. Class of 09'. (have no reason to lie to a online community I'll never meet... im 23 BTW)    You guys probably know Lance is from Broklyn New York, came form the hood, domestic charge blah blah..

Beside the fact, Lance work ethic is as strong as any other NBA player (his progression as a NBA player is very imrpessive IMO).. The kid got heart. They don't call him "Born Ready" for no reason.. Yea his antics  doesn't help his reputation but INDY was a mess. They even said turner had issues there. Did you hear bout issues in Charlotte? Overall, I think you should get your facts straight before you label a player 4 different names who you probably only seen play once or twice on TV.

I think a young, talented player like Stephenson would be better off on a team in which he's not a top player and there is mature veteran presence.   If we had the Big Three right now I think he'd be a fantastic addition, but right now I don't think so.
