What?? Have you watched any other games? Did you see the box score tonight? Worst I believe I have ever seen from Rondo.

Maybe if you followed more closely here, you'd be better informed. Are you looking at assists? I saw 18 ast and 7 TOs the other night on box score. And the team isn't winning.. I trust Green (can't believe I said that), Sully, and Bradley more right now.

I've seen every minute of every game and I am well enough informed, thank you very much.

Rondo is on pace to have the best year of his career statistically. When he makes his shots, this team is pretty hard to beat. I'll happily keep Rondo on this team if he keeps playing the way he has so far throughout this season. The only thing he really needs to work on is more scoring. Turnovers are going to happen to everyone.

If your 5 best bench players are as good as 5 best starters, that's not really a recipe for success.  Both groups are mediocre weak.  I'd gladly trade all 10 of them for 5 upgrades.

The game tonight summed it up pretty well. 

PG - Rondo + Smart = Redundant
SG - Bradley + Thornton = Gladly would trade both for an upgrade
SF - Green + Turner = Gladly would trade both for an upgrade
PF - Sully + Oly = Redundant
C - Zeller + Bass = Gladly would trade both for an upgrade

x+x= gladly would trade for an upgrade,
applies for any NBA player in any team provided an upgrade is available to come...

People are talking about MKG.  MKG is a significantly worse three-point shooter than Rondo.

Rim protector / Zellar

I do not think Stevens concurs with that.   I agree that we need a rim protector and a go to SG.    But I now think that Sully has no place on the roster, a lot of our bad D, was contained last night with him on the pine.   Both KO and Sully are poor defenders but KO is the better team defender.  Sully did not play in the fourth,  played one play in the first overtime and none in the second.   I think we should sell high on him now.

  One game is one game. Our bench players aren't usually as good as our starters. It's true that it would be great to trade 2 decent players for 1 good one, but those trades aren't always available.

I would trade everybody on the team except Smart and Young......for Drummond  and rebuild around him with DA's assets....

not really a dream in my opinion. Keep Rondo/Smart. But if you say trade everyone else, plus draft picks for say a theoretically unhappy Drummond because they cannot make playoffs, I think that is realistic.

I would agree with the premise that this team is built for a trade and filled with redundant parts.  Last night was awesome to watch but when your bench is dropping 80+ points, it's illustrative of the fact that this team is filled with a bunch of average to above average players & the starters v. bench dynamic is rather fluid which means that you're not top heavy in talent.  The reality of it is that you want a discernible difference there. You need a couple of those top heavy guys and this team doesn't have it right now.

This team has been pretty entertaining to watch this season but the ceiling is pretty low.  I remain convinced that Danny is treading water with this roster for the time being.  Continue to shed more salary and move some of this young talent for established talent.  It could very well last into 2016.

Still, what an entertaining game last night.  The effort from the Celtics was very commendable and great to watch.

He's averaging under 10 ppg and his ft % is in the 30's, this is not his best year because he grabbed a couple extra boards every game.
