Rondo is a decent player, but not nearly as impactful as a good part of the CB following considers him to be. He's certainly made himself expendable this season.

What do you think would be fair value for him in a trade?
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Lakers or Knicks top 5 pick , but won't happen because they both have cap room next season .

I refuse to sell Rondo for pennies. Like I said before Smart could work his value up to a point where we can land a big fish ( Melo, Hibbert) ,and still have an all-star PG leading us .

I want to see how Smart and Rondo work together , I love Smart so would rather hold onto him and send out draft picks instead.

Sadly, this is not as easy as Accounting 101. The question you should be asking is what would some desperate GM be willing to dish out.

Impactful? You would think Rondo was a bad player if you read half the posts here.

No, you'd think he's someone looking for a contract way beyond his pay grade.

So Agressive.

Smart had 1 good game.

And now he's the future.

He's a future 2 guard. Thats for sure. Dwyane Wade light.

TP

At this point I think Bradley's spot is more vulnerable than Rondo's.

Yeah I see it the same way you are, Bradleys spot is rocky right now as long as Smart keeps this up.

In Stevens system he needs multiple ball handlers and good passers.
And Bradley isn't really much of a ball handler and we all know his passing skills, or lack there of.

Don't get me wrong though, I love AB, but theres good and bad AB.
Good AB is catch and shoot / corner 3's/ cut to the basket / drive / fullcourt defense AB
Bad AB is dribbling / making plays / passing AB.

Birds of the same feather, flocks together.

Smart could easily just replace what Bradley can offer and then some, which is why I was upset that we paid Bradley without even at least testing his value in FA.

Even though there are haters, Rondo is a guy who can still break down the defense, you cant just replace that with Smart. On the other hand, Mahcus is just a decent 3PT shot away from making Avery pretty much out of the starting rotation. Pitbull defender, better rebounder, better ball handler and strong for his position.

I'd like to see more Smaht and Rondo combo. We were robbed by that when Smaht got injured.

We have a higher winning percentage without Rondo than with him over the last three years.

Rondo ranked 29th, 26th, and 36th in PER for all point guards over the last three years.

Trade him now, while he still has some value.
