I really do not get the frustration with RR.
He sure had some bad moments, but this is part of the game.
And as it has been pointed out already countless times, for a pass first PG like him, his game is dependent on who he plays with.
I think what is really going on is that many people are slowly realizing what this team really is. A bottom-ten in the NBA, with lots of inexperienced players who cannot cope with pressure.
As has already been said further up in the thread, no one is to blame for this apart from Ainge. But even with him, what is done is done, so we'd better trust in his ability to turn these draft pick into something meaningful.
To my mind, the main point of Tommy discussing with RR was that he is the leader of the team. It was the paradigmatic exchange of wisdom between the old king and his favourite young prince. The exact content of the conversation is not known (nor does it really matter). It was a symbolical rally for Celtic pride and past glory- the last resort of the hopeless.
We are what we are, one more season of painful games is ahead of us, patience (and beer) is all we are left with.
