Or, he could be hilarious, He's already kind of a jerk sober, so he might be a funny drunk.
A funny jerk. But you know, just at other people, not the guys he's out with. Or like just trying to deadpan everything, like when he's sober but just cracking up everytime. I'm having fun with this in my head now.
