We crumbled against a 2-3 zone. We can not protect the paint and our outside shooting continues to be awful. Rondo nearly gets a triple double and we get run out of our own building by a D-League team. Again, we could not attack the 2-3 zone. That is a defense a bad high school team plays. This was an embarrassing loss of the highest magnitude.

Well we did play Phil who might not be good enough for D league. Maybe BS felt bad for thunder and wanted to even playing field with those terrible rotations.

Dramatic much? Chill. It's seven games into the season, and we had a bad night.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Just like Chicago's season was over when they lost to us.

No recovering from it.  No hope.  Nope.  None at all.

We were wiped out by the 2-3 zone. We have not shot well from outside at all. Think about it. Teams  will simply zone up and dare us to shoot. (Where has Sullinger's three-pointer gone, btw?) In addition, teams that can get to the rim will bury us. We have zero rim protection. ZERO.

He never had one, contrary to what his daddy may think.

This team looks like a neighbourhood team. No coach, no tactics. I do not like to talk about why choosing players. Tradign PP and KG for this "casino"

You are right about no rim protection. It's a bad combination with over aggressive guards on defense. I see posters getting on Bradley for his defense but he has zero help behind him.

Do you know nothing about basketball or did you take a blow to the head?

We got shut out by a team playing zone. Every team that plays us will do the same now. Since we do not have decent shooting we are going to be losing a lot more than winning. Teams figure out what you can not do and they jam that down your throat. Do you think our shooting is going to get better overnight?

Not many teams can run a zone as effectively as OKC did. They have a lot of size in the paint and a lot of length and quickness on perimeter. Well disciplined defensive team.

Drunk beavers can play the 2-3 zone my friend. This is going to make for a very long season.

We don't have Smart if we kept KG and Pierce. There's no way we tank with those guys. We're also getting more picks. How can you make that conclusion?

It's true he had no help behind him, but before Bradley was the type of defender who made it difficult for his man to get the ball over half court.

Mostly I think the fault is the scheme. Their aggressiveness is leading to easy drives to the hoop. Hopefully Brad changes it up so that  we are more conservative in the future.

On the zone, I think we will play better the next time we see it. However, for this game Stevens was badly out coached.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

That time of the month?

No need to be condescending or attack someone else's basketball knowledge to make a point.  I'd imagine deep down you know that it's not as big a deal as you're making it out to be.  These are NBA players.  Adjustments can and will be made.  Get over the loss, it happens.
