Holy moley. It just might a slaughter.  Expect to see pressed log a lot of minutes, be that good or bad we shall see.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Yeah, isn't looking good.  But I agree, if we are blown out anyways, lets see some James Young.
I am hoping for some minutes for him before (if) he gets shipped off to maine.

Don't understand why they can't just remove the screw on an off day like, say, Sunday or Monday.

I like Press role out of the bench but I don't think he can handle the offense too many minutes, but one thing's for sure, don't like Turner at the point, so it is what it is, we'll see

I'm guessing Turner to start and Pressey to come off the bench

Stop crying like a bunch of babies, this is the hand you were dealt. anything could happen against the Bulls. In the five games we have played we have seen a little bit of everything. we might just put it all together with or without Rondo and Smart.

we have won two.
we have lost one because the ball would not go in the hole.
we lost another because we had no defense
we lost another one because we had 28 turnovers, and I don't even want to guess how many calls against us by the officials.

I don't know if it's me or not but has anyone noticed, especially in last night's Pacer's game how erratic these refs were.  there was one out of bounds play that I thought the officials would never come to an agreement on, and when they did, the call was made wrong!!!!!!

I have to agree with you about the officiating.  They are not in sync.  And, there are too many chintzy calls going against the Celtics while egregious calls against their opponents are sometimes are overlooked.
Can't understand why the refs don't over rule each other more often.

One rule that seems to have been eliminated is the double foul.  Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but I don't recall seeing one in a long time.  It used to be that if two players made equally egregious contact one official would call the foul on the offensive player and the other on the defensive player.  Then, they would have a jump ball.  Has this rule been eliminated?

So this is how Rondo retaliates to being benched for nearly the entire 4th quarter in last night's game? The most logical thing to do would be to play and then remove the screw.
Someone tell me one reason why he wouldn't wait until after the game?  As someone pointed out we have a huge rest coming up and there's no need for Rondo to miss this game.

Very disappointed Rondo won't be playing when he obviously has the choice to.

I don't think you're wrong in thinking that way. the timing for Rondo isn't a coincidence imo. seems like something we should have heard about a week ago. instead of after a game in which he sat a good duration of the 4th qrtr.

this is Rondo's last season here.

This is so odd.  Not Rondo-like in my opinion.  Someone like him wouldn't miss a game for something like this when it could've been postpone till after Bulls game.  C'mon man, we need you.

So if he played tomorrow he would get exactly 4 straight days off with no contact.  Instead he will gain about 4 days and 12 hours of no contact.  Is that extra 12 hours worth missing a game?

Anyone else find this to be really weird?

After Rondo refused to even put on street clothes when he broke his hand and rushed back so he wouldn't miss game 1, he's now opting to miss an entire game so that he gets 108 hours rest instead of 96 hours?

Something is going on here in my opinion.

Playing today means he has to travel to Chicago and back. Sets things back for way more than mere 12 hours.
