Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love have the faces of practiced losers. Neither one can inject any life or inspiration into this mess.

Hassan Whiteside on Miami is having a breakout game and he hasn't even blocked a shot yet. 12 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals at the half in 12 minutes off the bench. Came in when the Heat were down 8-19 and dominated, will be interesting to see if he can keep it up.
Hassan Whiteside:
28:43  Min
10-13  FG
3-4     FT
5     OR
11     DR
2        ST
2        BS

I knew he was good after killing it in the D-League after his Kings period.
But nobody gave him a change all those years.

All those years that Boston needed a center but never a 10 day contract.
Too bad but happy for him.

Yeah, was thinking the same thing. And the way he called out Doc specifically in his post game interview for denying him a workout, he sounds like he's on a mission. Good for him.

TP for the highlights.  Did he say if he was denied a workout for this year, or while Doc was still in Boston (which wouldn't make much sense because Rivers didn't have the power to make such decisions so I might have just answered my own question, lol. ;D)?  And look, everyone, he BOXES OUT, and can use BOTH HANDS! :o  What I also love about him is that, for the most part, whenever he blocks a shot, he actually KEEPS IT IN PLAY.  What a concept, right (sarcasm)?  Sigh.

It was with the Clippers :) They wanted to bring him in for training camp but Doc said no.

Regarding Hassan Whitesides great game, it's gonna burn Lebron, since Cleveland has needed a center.

Poor old Cavs...lol!

Mike Miller is so over the hill it's not funny. I predict their last desperation move will be to beg Ray Allen for help.

That's great for Whiteside, but at the same time, sadly, it also doesn't surprise me about Doc, as guards don't understand how to coach or even use big men these days.  Sigh.

He's a free agent.  Let's give him a max contract.

Kyrie looks absolutely terrified of Lebron. He just made a turnover and kept checking Lebron's face for disappointment.

Hey look everybody, Hassan Whiteside has 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 blocks with 2 fouls in only 8 minutes against the Lak...oh what's the use?  Ugh.

Blatt sat Love all of the 4th, and he looked visibly upset about it. Are they actively trying to run him out of town?
