The term, "extra pass," is kind of misleading, imo. It should be, "the next pass," or, "pass to the open man," because if it's an extra pass, it's one too many. Just move the ball as much as you can and you'll get something good. It's not that hard. Sending guys to the baseline is beyond stupid, as well. You NEVER give someone the baseline. EVER. Someone asked Bill Russell about that, and Russell laughed and said, of why you should never send someone to the baseline, "because there's no help there,"

I love that man. Yes, the baseline can act as another defender. Sort of, but it's extremely risky. Did teams ever send Jordan to the baseline by choice? Hell no lol. The same goes for Kobe, Lebron, Wade, and other explosive scorers like that. Send them to the middle, if you can. At least there's help there
