As my wildcard, I'm going with Buffy Summers (Sarah Michelle Gellar), Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I was thinking about this as a love interest, but she'd just drive the crew apart. First she'd be with the older guy who stands in for daddy, then she'd be with the guy she "thinks" she's supposed to be with, then she'd be with Spike and it would stop making sense.

Aw come on, Buffy and Spike made perfect sense because Buffy could no longer make sense of anything (after she was taken from Heaven and lost that absolute clarity/ability to feel happy).
