Gollum is still chasing that ring!  Granted he has one or two.   LeBron has become his precious.

Now they can trade Thompson, Waiters, Haywood's unguaranteed for next year, and a vet min for Hibbert and have their line up complete.

Irving/Delladova
Allen/Miller
James/Jones
Love/Marion
Hibbert/Varejo
Because it makes a lot of sense to have Varejao come off the bench behind an inferior player. Yeah.

No response would make any sense to this except hysterical laughter.
Yeah.

as expected right?

Yup, not much of a shocker

EDIT: However, it really is something when you look at the totality of what Cleveland was able to do this offseason. Here are the players they added (in addition to extending Kyrie Irving.)

-Lebron James
-Kevin Love
-Shawn Marion
-Mike Miller
-James Jones
-Ray Allen

I don't know whether I should be impressed, ticked off or all of the above.

It doesnt matter. They are not winning the championship

Well, I think at the very least they are winning the East.

Chicago and even Washington can take them.

Wall, Beal, Pierce, Nene, and Gortat are no pushovers.

The Wizards will be a tough team.

As for the Bulls, I don't see them going far because of Rose's injury problems.

Ethan Skolnick said that the reports are untrue at the moment. He also said that he heard that Allen would definitely not have re-signed with Miami, even if James had returned, due to issues he had with play-calling by Spoelstra. He didn't elaborate, but it probably was with the lack of shots he was getting last year.

Well I kind of hope for Rays sake that he does just retire. His choice at the end of the day, but he really doesn't seem willing or able to admit that he is at best a reserve specialist that can no longer play top minutes. If this miami complaint is true, that means he has been unhappy with his decreasing looks the last two years. How does that improve on a new team where it hard to make an argument would be better than the 6th  offensive option (irving, Lebron, Love, Waiters all better at creating shots, others more debatable)

If Rose stays healthy I see the Bulls being the Easts best team. With Pau and Noah down low and Gibson in the 6th man role that is a really well balanced, talent wise, front court trio. For a team that was number 1 in defense last year to upgrade their PF position from Boozer to Pau Gasol and not lose much else, only gain in other areas. They should fair pretty well.

I put Bulls at one, Cavs at two and the Wizards knocking on the door as the third best Eastern team.

You're right, this link from Fox Sports also says there's nothing new

Changed the title of this thread so as not to mislead.

Yeah right had nothing to do with Spoelstra Ray was going to get on all fours and follow LeBron wherever he went.

Brand new NBA coach and others things make his role  and usage less predictable that it was joining Miami. And cold winter weather.

Dion Waiters   2013-14 Regular Season:   MPG-29.6,  PPG-15.9

Mario Chalmers   2013-14 Regular Season:   MPG-29.8,  PPG-9.8

As a Ray Allen fan, you're a disgusting person. Now crawl back to your sorry life /by Lebron James/
