Well, Bass has a career fg% of 49.1% and ft% of 83%. That says good shooting. Unless, their's some inflation of that figure by at basket 2s.
He definitely has a nice shot. Good form, consistent as heck. Not a quick release, but nice on the pick/pop when he's open.
Unfortunately, no pass Bass has to either shoot or simply not get the ball in that situation.
If Sully or KO is the pick man and Bass is in the corner (instead of the other way around), the extra pass can be made if necessary, like when the entire defense shifts over to help on expected Rondo penetration, and Bass' man in the corner rotates to the pick man.
When Bass is traded and it's both Sully and KO, then we can hopefully see some nice ball movement on offense again, and the ball can whip around both of them and then back to Rondo, Green, or Bradley on a cut from a weakside screen or something.
As good as Brandon is, there's a reason he's a journeyman.
But Bass' release is too slow for him to be shooting them off picks or anything; he's going to be a spot up guy there in the corner.
