most star free agents want to test free agency. doesn't mean they will leave. at the end of the day the Celtics can offer an extra year and more money. If Boston plans on keeping him around long-term then he will stick around long-term. It's that simple. Celtics organization knows him best and he knows the Celtics organization best. If Ainge wants to move him then he will either trade him during the season for a great return, work out a S/T this offseason OR let him walk, which sometimes isn't as bad as it sounds. Boston could have some big time cash to spend next offseason. Or they can wait until 2016 when Durant is a free agent. At that point they could probably sign 2 max free agents to join their developing young core (Smart, Young, Sully, Bradley, KO, 2015 picks)
