This is going to be a very long season up coming for us my fellow Celtic fans. We all know Danny is planning for the future adding assets via trading and drafting and etc. Its a youth movement that we all have to be patient with and embrace. Yes is this team going to have trouble scoring? Yes they will. Will rookies make mistakes? Of course they are going to. But with cap room next year to spend and more players advancing there skills. This team will be back into contending in a few years. The gloomy days of the 90's are in the past. The future is very bright and I am proud to say I am  Celtic fan. No matter how bad this team is I will be right there supporting the Boys in Green White. This has been on my mind for the past few days for fans that are just Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing about wanting to win now and keep blaming Danny for not being able to get Love or anybody else.

I actually enjoy the rebuilding process (with Danny). Watching player development is a favorite part of the game for me and when we are winning I will miss it....lol I know Im nuts.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

The only thing that will be tough about this season is watching Danny play the veterans he wants to trade rather than the young guys.

But that is the smart thing to do.

Its all fun until you run into the fans of the 8 teams in the East who can root for their teams beyond the regular season

That would be the best thing that could happen.

We have 5 or 6 first round draft picks in the next two drafts.

As a former resident of OKC while they were the worst team in the league, I'm glad to see that the fanbase of my real favorite team is actually sticking around and supportive through the rebuilding.

Actually it can get a lot worse.  The players can quit on certain nights when the losses start piling up.  That, fortunately, did not happen last year, but is always a possibility if you're bad for too long a time.  The other thing to be concerned about is how long Stevens will put up with not being able to compete when he'd be an automatic candidate for the first big NCAA job that opens up.

But I do believe this team is going to stink again this season.

Personally I don't think this team will have trouble scoring.  That is one thing that I absolutely love about Brad Stephens...as an offensive coach he is outstanding.
Defense, on the other hand, could be a disaster.  Especially if Rondo plays the 'I'll gamble because I don't feel like defending' game.

Our offense was putrid for much of last year.  Were we watching the same team? ;D  I thought that it was the other way around, quite honestly.  Yeah, there were actual basketball plays :o at times, especially at the beginning of the year, but most of the time it was tough to watch.

If Brad is the type of coach to let the players quit, then he should head back to the NCAA with his tail between his legs...

...fortunately, I don't think he's that kind of coach...and the fact that he's got a mostly young roster, with a few mature vets who know the game, gives him the leeway to treat them like college coaches do when they feel their players are giving up...kick their arse!

Losing sucks...nobody wants to do it, but there is always one loser in any contest.  The "victory" is what do you take from the contest that you can apply in the future.  Sometimes a loss can be just as valuable or more than a victory.

Honestly, if Brad Stevens wants to be truly great, he needs to watch an NBA team develop.  There is a lot to learn there and we can't expect him to win us a championship with even a stacked roster right away.  He needs his reps too and he is learning a lot through this.  Losing sucks, but if he doesn't want to earn it then he can take off.  I think he has the stones to stick this through and it will be all the sweeter when it finally pays off.
