Actually, if you want the first pick, it looks like 33 wins is the way to go  (aka CLE last year).

Lol, so true.

First the Cavs get three no 1 draft picks in the last 4 years, then Lebron suddenly ends up back in Cleveland and now they are on the verge of acquiring every other star in all of sports.

Boy, nothing suspicious about that!! ::)

This broke my heart reading this sentence.

Lebron is definitely gonna win 2-3 more championships in CLE.

I like Karl Towns better than Okafor but to each his own.

I will accept whatever the Celtics end up doing with Rondo. My opinion is that Id like to trade him and go youth movement. But I enjoy watching the rebuilding process.

I would love to have Towns if Rondo is here. He reminds me of a more athletic Kevin Love.

Karl Towns actually is much taller than Love. He is legit 7 feet, 7'4'' wingspan, and 9'5'' standing reach.  i think he will have the ability to play the 4 and actually space the court.

Tank or not, the lottery awaits this team.
If all goes terribly we win 25 games.
If all goes perfectly we win 40 games.
I would set the over/under at 32 1/2 games.

3 trades (all mentioned in this forum 100 times) to make if we want to tank and get a top 5 pick

1. The Green for MKG/Biyombo trade

2. The Bass/Thornton/Fav/Anthony trade for Amare

3. The Rondo for McLemore/Williams/Terry trade

Got to get worse now, pick up a couple more young players for the future, and make sure we only win 15 games.  Certainly no need to keep Bass/Thornton.  It's gonna be hard to hold on to Rondo and Green next year if we are coming off a 35 win season and we can't get a decent big man in free agency.

I don't think this team has to "tank" to get into the lottery. They have a lot of young players so they will most likely lose to most NBA teams and make the lottery anyhow. Whether they win the lottery is a totally different question. I want this team to plAy hard like they did last year. They never got blown out like those clowns in Philly. Play the young kids, let them grow, and hope to see improvements. And then whatever happens happens.

Okafor is as good as ours in one of the best big men drafts in NBA history. Sell Rondo for anything, anything more than 16 wins is unacceptable. Are you up for doing the right thing Ainge?

It's never too early to buy into the over-hype. I can't wait to hear about why the 2016 draft will be too amazing to pass up.
