Warriors now willing to give up Klay Thompson for Kevin Love, who would exercise option for '15-16 if traded there http://www.basketballinsiders.com/love-willing-to-exercise-option-if-traded-to-warriors/

The Warriors have been trying to acquire Love without letting go of Thompson, but have come off of that stance because Love is willing to exercise his option for the 2015-16 season and put off becoming a free agent next summer according to a source.

Too little too late. CLE's offer is better. Shoulda jumped on it when they had the chance.

In other words - "Crap!  Cleveland is willing to move Wiggins for him.  We have to do something!  Quick!" ;D

Maybe the report about Wiggins was to put pressure on GSW.

  • Celtic's only raise championship Banners
Cleveland has to be the luckiest team. The fact that they have not won a championship with all the luck they have had just shows how crappy the organization is.

BREAKING:  Boston now willing to include Phil Pressey in a package for Kevin Love.

Wonder if both of these reports (wiggins/klay) are actually true... Or if they are being leaked by the wolves to get one of them to finally bite.

Good job for Saunders, he's ensuring that he won't walk away with a sub par package.

Unless they make it to the regular season, Kevin Love hurts himself doing a pushup again, and no one's interested in him any more.

Given reliable beat reporters have denied them both I think wolves are leaking trying to drive a bidding war.

Could both still be true and wolves leaking but at this point who knows till it happens.

About time. They were being silly about not including Klay Thompson.

Kevin Love would be a sensational combination alongside Steph Curry, Andrew Bogut and Andre Iguodala. That Big Four can lead a team to a Championship. Do what you have to do to get it done.

I knew this would happen.   Now the Wolves have to try somehow to get both Wiggins and Thompson and let GSW and the Cavs kill each other for Love.

But what if the wolves could make this happen

To GSW: Waiters, Bennett, Dieng, Cavs future 1st
To Wolves: Thompson, Wiggins
To Cavs: Love, Barnes

If you consider the 4 rumors involved (GS wouldn't trade Clay, now they will, Cleveland wouldn't trade Wiggins, now they will) best case is you'll find out if 2 of them were ever true, most likely you may or may not find out if one of them's true.

The Cavs want Love, but they're not idiots.  Wiggins + Waiters + Bennett + Thompson + #1 is *way* too much.

Dont understand why they didn't in the first place.

I understand that Klay's two way style of play and developing game is something you dont want to give up. But, dude, this is Kevin Love we're talking about here.

As long as they don't touch Allan Ray, I am happy.
