Cleveland held both Wiggins and Bennett out of today's game.  A trade may be close.

is that enough salary? also, bennett has shown to be absolute trash (outside of summer league...which is...at the very least, a reason to expect him to be trash). i really suspect the wolves need more than a possible franchise player (who didn't live up to expectations in college) and a bust for an actual franchise player.

I have to wonder how many of the claimed sources surrounding these rumors are based on this troll/prank job:

I think getting a possible franchise player for an actual franchise player who has promised to leave after the season is a great deal.  Bennett was awful last year, but went into the season overweight, out of shape, and injured.  Now, he's in shape and may turn into a solid player. The Wolves would be foolish not to jump at this deal.

You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

Wouldn't it make sense for the Cavs to sign Wiggins to a contract, so that they can include his salary in the deal?  That way they don't have to include another quality player in the trade.

It would involve waiting 30 days, but the sides can easily agree in principle.

Yeah, I've read some wheres, maybe even here that right know with Bennett,Waiters, Wiggins, they would be about 2 Mill short unsigned.

I still thinks it's a bad move by Cleveland to give up 1 solid, and two prospect players that in a year could be a big part of the rotation for Love. They loose a lot of flexibility in the line up, and depth.

I actually think they would be more dangerous with out Love than with Love.

That guy, and I'm like 95% positive that Chris Broussard saw this rumor picking up steam and made it his own.

So, as we've known all along, Chris Broussard is full of crap.

I can't imagine Bennett has any real value after his rookie season.  Minny will be happy to take him but they're going to want something else in the deal.
