I will admit I'm optimistic about us this season and predict we go 39-43, and end the season 10th in the East.

What do you guys predict?

31 wins, 9th seed.

If the roster stays the same as it is now - 30-52...the east was bad last year, even by it's own standard but this year because of FA, the depth of the conference has improved and the C's really haven't.

Cavs
Pacers
Bulls
Miami
Washington
Toronto
Atlanta
Hornets

Brooklyn
NYK
Det
C's
Bucks
Orlando
Philly

Going to be a long year, I think the C's will have a top 5 lottery selection this year...

7. Charlotte
8. Atlanta
9. New York
10. Boston
11. Brooklyn
12. Detroit
13. Orlando
14. Philadelphia
15. Milwaukee

It CAN.... just depends on how Sully/Oly/Smart/Young develop and if we get national game Rondo every night and Green shows up every night not every 4th night.

I can see this current roster being anywhere from 23-40 wins there are a lot of IFs

45 Wins, 6th seed.

Rondo has a career contract year and plays like a top 5 player in the East. We add a rim protector and one of Olynyk, Sullinger, Bradley, Zeller have a break out season. We then add Love at the deadline.

If we don't get Love 40 wins 8th seed.

If we trade Rondo 28 wins

If potential is reached (big IF) but we'd have one of the best young rosters in the league. Olynyk and Sully NEED to be huge this year at the PF position. Even if Jeff Green gives us exactly what he gave us last year the additions of Smart,Thornton and Zeller are improvements over last years roster. Plus we have Rondo a full year and healthy. So I guess if those stars align we truly have a shot at the playoffs. Let's say #7 seed?

By the way, anybody know when the deadline is?

38-44. 9th in conference.

Continued development of Olynyk, Sullinger, Bradley. Full year of Rondo (as of now). I think Smart will be better than expected - will shoot a low % but will be a great playmaker almost immediately. Zeller will be solid in the middle. Green will be Green. Bass will be Bass.

I think the ceiling for this team with the talent assembled is 45-47 wins, 1st round exit. So Ainge needs to do something.
