If he goes back to the Heat, Sheridan loses all credibility.

Sheridan with the scoop?
Woj is the kicker for me.

Adrian Wojnarowski ?@WojYahooNBA 3m
LeBron James left the meeting without committing to a deal with the Heat, league source tells Yahoo Sports

If Lebron wanted to return to the heat, and wants a max deal, whats the hold up? He's had months to consider other options.

At the same time, there's no evidence that Lebron told Riley that he was leaving, either, which you would have expected.

Perhaps Lebron is going to keep us waiting, to see what other moves the Cavs can make.

1. being patient
2. he is loving all the attention

Not really.  Think of all the false rumors that have been reported in the media.

It's not officially until the wojbomb

I love that Adrian Wojnarowski has become a internet celebrity.  I don't even know what that dude looks like, but he seems to have more credibility than anyone.

Ditto. Strange isn't it? Anyone reports a rumor and I'm like meh let's wait and see. If it's Woj then,,,, done deal.
Celtics fan for life.

So in other words, they're reporting a non-story as a story ::)  Oh man.  This is beginning to sound more and more like a job for Jon Stewart than ESPN (which I would obviously prefer btw, haha):  Indecision 2014 - Lebron James Edition ;D

Can't believe it's looking like neither LBJ nor Melo are going to the Lakers. I was sure somehow that was going to ruin my summer.

No idea who this dude is.

I feel no more convinced than I was last night when it was "90%". The trade today was incredibly stupid for CLE if they are gambling on this .  . . . they ought to have a verbal at this point for doing that but you never know with the idiocy that can occur over in CLE's front office.

What if Lebron doesnt sign with them? This will set Cleveland back a few years IMHO
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;

Question: If LeBron signs with Cleveland, can Cleveland use bird rights on Luol Deng to sign him at a market rate and go well over the cap in the process?

If so, doesn't it make more sense to keep your picks, young assets (Wiggins, Bennett, Thompson, Waiters, etc) and add Deng to the mix to create a super team on the wing? The wing rotation would be Wiggins, James and Deng, with Bennett and Thompson able to shift between the 3 & 4.

Alternatively, could they sign & trade Deng to pick up a player or assets if he doesn't go back? Seems like something they need to leverage one way or another.

Wouldn't surprise me if LeBron told the Cavs that he will sign with them...then Cavs clean house and LeBron say " I lied, Im going back to Miami"

No to sign LeBron they will need to renounce Deng who has a cap hold of roughly 19 million I believe.

why is anyone even discussing this anymore.

He is going back to Cleveland. Only move that makes sense for his legacy.

Its amazing how little credit Sheridan is given by the other NBA guys.  They always retweet each other, but I haven't seen him retweeted by anyone.  I understand the ESPN guys not doing it, but still, it seems strange.  He doesn't seem to be well liked in that fraternity.

I said 4 years ago he would return to Cleveland cause he doesn't want to be hated there the rest of his life
