There has been some rumors of Bosh to Cleveland as well on the "Free Agency &Trade Rumors" thread.

Also said they'd like to keep Wiggins. Which would make sense moving him to SG and Lebron to SF. By next season Wiggins could be better than the current Wade. Heck even this season. :P

Cavaliers want to unload Jarrett Jack's $6M annual deal to clear space, without touching Anderson Varejao -- a LeBron James favorite

Around Bosh/Wade, there's uneasiness about James' intent; uncertainty. No one's sure -- yet. Heat aren't done, but empire's teetering.

So if all these moves occur... Cleveland will be loaded, as well as the Spurs, Clips, Rockets. Does this change any minds about rondo getting traded?  I mean, we are never going to touch Cleveland, Indy, or Toronto even unless we get much better. If all these guys go to contenders, what's left for rondo to "attract". (Not that I believe he is much of an attraction anyway). Just asking.

LeBron James planning a face-to- face meeting with Pat Riley in next few days, sources tell ESPN. USA Today reported earlier.

Stephen A. reporting that Chris Bosh is holding up free agency dominos. If he leaves for Rockets, it would create spot for Melo with Heat.

...Well if Bosh goes to Houston the Heat will have some real flexability and could add something good like Carmelo.

LeBron James to Cleveland is best move for him. I just dont see why people do not see this.

If Lebron stays at Miami his statue goes next to Wade who is the hometown favorite.

If Lebron goes to Chicago his statute goes next to MJ the man who  built the Bulls (apologies to the Jerrys)

If LeBron goes to LA Lakers he will have to wait for Kobe's statute to go up next to Magic's, Kareem's and maybe even Shaq's.

If he goes to LA Clippers he will be the joke of the town because LA is a Laker town and will always be a Laker town.

He goes to Cleveland, his hometown, and he wins a championship -- he can have the entire city. Best move for him.

I have said it before the best player in the world does not leave a situation to go and join with another superstar like LeBron did when he left for Miami. Big dent on his legacy. Add to that the fact that Wade never accepted LeBron as the team leader. He called him 'our best player' but never called him 'our leader.

To match the MJs and Kobes of this world, LeBron has to go back home and make well with his team. His own team!!!! People should be seen as coming to play with him, not vice versa.

"Hey LeBron"

"Hi Pat."

"How's it going?"

"Good, just got back from vacation."

"Are we done toying with the suckers yet?"

"Sure."

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

When Chris Broussard eventually gets fired/leaves ESPN I will probably cry tears of joy.

Guy is the biggest joke in the industry. He makes A Sherrod look like Adrian Wojnarowski

What I don't understand is how he still has a job at espn after his homophobic comments, but then again, Jalen Rose wasn't fired after his, "Grant Hill is an Uncle Tom," statement on the fab four's 30 for 30 feature.

If, and when, that day does come, however, I must admit that I'll miss Broussard pronouncing Luol Deng as "Lew-al-dang" and Dwyane Wade as "Da-wayne-Wade."  It always sounds like he's overcompensating ;D

Speaking of the Cavs keeping varejao...  Something I found interesting in that "trade for Larry Sanders" thread yesterday...

I tracked down the actual paper that compared interior defenders statistically:  http://www.sloansportsconference.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/The%20Dwight%20Effect%20A%20New%20Ensemble%20of%20Interior%20Defense%20Analytics%20for%20the%20NBA.pdf

Not surprisingly, Larry Sanders and Roy Hibbert were two of the best while Kevin Love was one of the worst.   But even worse than Love... Anderson Varejao.  Sup with that?  I thought the perception was that he was an elite defender.  I remember quite a few Boston fans that wanted him.

In pursuit of max slot for LeBron James, Cavs searching for team to take Nets' Marcus Thornton in deal to unload Jarrett Jack, sources say.

I would take Thornton just to screw Pat Riley ;D  Give them the trade exception too, whatever.  Oh this is hilarious.  Btw, Thornton's contract expires after next season, so that could help to ease the loss of the trade exception.  He's set to make 8,575,000 in 14-15.
