Woj just reported that Ainge is still in for Love... However im now certain the package wont include Smart and/or Young with all thats been going on, and it makes sense since the Wolves wanna be competitive... Im thinking the new trade package would be something like:
Green, Olynyk, Bradley, and one or both Brooklyn picks

I like this deal much more than the previous package which involved up to three or four picks...
We could then bring back PP with MLE for one last championship run and also to mentor Young while finishing off his stellar career... We would then use the TPE or unguaranteeds if the TPE has expired to bring in a starting caliber center... Worst case scenario we sign Jordan Hill or Okafor in FA and roll in next season with:
Rondo-Pressey
Smart-Young-Bayless/Bazemore
Pierce-Wallace-CJ
Love-Sully-Bass
Hill/Okafor-Fav-Iverson OR preferrably KG/Sanders-Hill-Fav

Top 3 seed in East and a contender

I would think Humphries would be included (S&T)--instead of Green.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Smart/Young are not dealbreakers.  Ainge wouldn't hesitate to trade them for Kevin Love.   Neither is likely to start for us next year (unless Rondo is traded... Smart might get starter minutes if Rondo is traded)

Even if we strike out on Love, I am all for making a cheap run at J. Hill.  I think Hill would mesh well with KO, Sully, Rondo and Green.  He has been somewhat underutilized in LA.  I wonder if we could land him for 5-6 mil a year for 3 years?  Maybe that is optimistic?

That is very reasonable

I agree with LarBrd33, Ainge would trade his own children for Love.  I don't agree that he should but he definitely would.

No way do I include olynk in the package. SUlly is not going to be willing to be a sixth man, and unlike KO, he can't really sub in at either position. KO can play center against any second unit center, and can be used as a facilitator. Trade Sully all you want, but  no way KO    IMO

I agree. I feel we give up a lot for Love. The best option is to sign Hill for cheap (3 years/12M?) or Okafor at about the same rate of money and/or make an attempt for Saunders. Either way, Hill can give you a 10-10 game and give you valuable minutes off the bench, and he could also be a potential starter baring another player at C getting injured.

After all we went thru with Smart, id be ridiculously bummed if he got traded, especially for love...
Young isnt a deal breaker, but i dont think he'll leave either...

I don't see C's keeping both Smart and Young. I do think they could keep one of the two. Deal I can see is that works is

Minn Receives:
        Smart
        Sully
        Hump (S&T)
        Bass
        TPE (For Martin)
Clippers first and one Brooklyn 1st.
Bos Receives:
        Martin
        Love

If Minnesota didn't want our players or picks before, they don't now...and I doubt that this trade can be made without involving a third or fourth team to trade our players, TPE, picks, whatever to get the pieces that Flip wants in exchange for Love.

Who are those players?  Don't know...but I'm sure that if Danny is still trying to make this deal happen, then he knows.

Sully can't play both positions since when?  He started at center this year, at PF the year before.  He has the bulk to bang down low that KO doesn't have.  He came off the bench for more than a quarter of the games this year with nary a squawk.

I don't care if we trade both or neither, so I don't have a dog in this fight.  I'm just saying that man, that's just a flat out inaccurate statement.

I think having Smart and seeing what has happened with Brooklyn certainly changes things compared to pre-draft discussions. I do feel C's package potential is far better than Warriors, Bulls and Rockets because all they seem to be able to offer is "one border-line all-star, and crappy picks". C's can offer "cap relief, good projected picks, potential all-star, plus two/three decent players". Also Wolves drafted two SGs. Wolves now need a PG, SF or PF prospect. C's have 2 of those in Smart and Sully. Wolves would be foolish to trade with any one else.
