Kelly said that he gained 15 pounds during the season (Ok, Kendall Gill said that Kelly said). Now imagine him gaining muscle without traveling and playing. Here we are.

So when do we start the "Olynyk is the next Dirk" talk again?

When he gains some quickness and coordination and his arms grow three inches.  :)

He looks pretty darn quick and coordinated in that video. He scored in a bunch of different ways, on the break, with moves near the basket, pulling up midrange, etc.

Not that he's Dirk, but his issues aren't in his mobility. For a sophomore big man his mobility is actually very good. What he needs is some swagger. I remember Stevens saying last year that he wished Olynyk would be more selfish on offense, and try to take over a game. If he can do that, he's going to be a very effective player for a long time.

Don't get me wrong.  I like KO, but he will never approach Dirk's level.  Dirks is more mobile and coordinated and far more talented, but he's a pretty special player.

Yea, he is definitely more cut. I noticed it the other day. He still has about 4 months to get even better but it's already very noticeable (to me). He's gonna play with Canada so he is going to only get about 2 more months of real work probably. He has a busy schedule.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

KO's play looking impressive in that one game. It would be to see that continue with consistency.

Too bad his facial hair isn't all that impressive.

KO max vertical at the pre draft measurements was at 29.

Right now i would say he is at 31-32. With his improved body he has definitely improved his jumping capability and quickness.  Danny knew what he was doing trading up for KO
