Kevin Love like body transformation.  In 3 months he has been able to go from pudgy to sleek.  I wonder what he can do in a full year.

Love the few mid range jump shots he made without any issues (David West).  I predict KO will avg 13-15 ppg , 7-8 rebounds , 2-3 assists this season

I think we found ourselves our starting PF for years to come.  Sully has alot of work to do with his body to get in front of KO at this point

I'd be happy with those averages to start the year, no doubt would like to see him hit at least 15ppg with some 9-10 rebounds. But that's just a wish list. Really hope Sully can prove us wrong when the season begins or else I feel he may start to lose some support.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

Yeah he looks really good. Still a little awkward at times, but better than last year.

And he's finally done some thing with his hair were he's not screwing around with it for half the game. Drove me nuts watching him fixing it after every play!  :D

I think he also needs to be more aggressive with rebounds. Too many times is he batting it around. I think right now thats the only think Sully has on him if they are fighting over the starting spot. KO looks way more game ready. And has a shot from every spot on the floor.

Now we just need Smart to be more aggressive the next game. He looked better the more aggressive he got.

At this point Sully is actually in front of KO. It's the other way around, KO has a lot of work to do, and appears like he has been doing it.  But Sully is still the better player in the NBA right now.

Looks about the same to me.  Maybe the ponytail is throwing people off.

Did he say he gained/lost weight or something?

how is that??

no dispute that Sully is the better rebounder. But what else can he do better.

Someone may have made this comparison before, but KO reminds me of Pau Gasol--seven-footer with great passing ability. Not as good a rebounder (yet) as Pau, but a better shooter.

Don't know if I buy that.  Sully's got a limited ceiling.  Might be a long-term backup.  If Kelly continues to shoot like he did at the end of last year, he should be getting the bulk of minutes at PF.  Neither should be playing center.

It's hard to tell from that blurry video, but if you watched the game, you would see he has transformed his body quite a bit.  I'd roughly say he lost 10 pounds of fat and gained 10 pounds of muscle.

sounds about right.  Hopefully he is around 245 right now.  I can see him put on another 5-10 pounds of muscle before it affects his mobility

The highlight video is pretty good quality.  It shows a flashback to last year.  I dunno... I'm not sure I see much of a "body transformation".  Maybe "body transformation" = haircut.

Lol.  But I'll take your word for it.  I guess he looks like he has a little bit less body fat, but it's not like the dude was tubby last year.

So when do we start the "Olynyk is the next Dirk" talk again?
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

When he gains some quickness and coordination and his arms grow three inches.  :)

He looks pretty darn quick and coordinated in that video. He scored in a bunch of different ways, on the break, with moves near the basket, pulling up midrange, etc.

Not that he's Dirk, but his issues aren't in his mobility. For a sophomore big man his mobility is actually very good. What he needs is some swagger. I remember Stevens saying last year that he wished Olynyk would be more selfish on offense, and try to take over a game. If he can do that, he's going to be a very effective player for a long time.
