As much as I'm dying to have a dramatic change in our beloved team.  I feel we are just fans like Milwaukee's and Philly's who just hope maybe this year will be the big bang. At one point our assets did make sense to get Love. But with the playoff ready trades they been offered, Who in the world wants to rebuild when your competition consist of BIG 3's everywhere you go? I really hope Smart makes a Damien Lillard transition int the league. Bradley for 8 mill was pretty decent  imo. BUT!, it also told me we dont currentlyhave much chances of bringing in a tier 2 player to help snag a superstar.

Just being realistic

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure resigning Bradley was one of the Celtics top priorities this offseason.

I bet they're going to play basketball though.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I make that assumption do to how fast we were to resign him.

Relax. This is Day 2 of the silly season. Trade moratorium doesn't lift for another week, and that's the earliest Ainge could possibly use the TPE, or trade Bogans and other nonguaranteed deals.

Considering how out of the blue the Stevens signing was, I wouldn't take silence as a lack of activity in the Celtics front office.

They sure are . Bradley will deffinetely get better. In my eyes, if we pick up Hill for MLE type money we can break intp a playoff seed. Overall I'm just not expecting big bangs as far as transactions

Theres deffinetely no Hayward , Gortat, PArsons for us

Its still very early in the off-season. Remember the KG trade didn't happen till July 31st. While yes the Roster is filled with Guards and Pf's and one Small Forward. There is still plenty of time for Danny to do something.

My suspicion is that this season will be similar to last season, both in total wins and in roster turnover.

I think Rondo at full speed breaks us into the playoffs. That is if Lowry doesn't resign with Toronto. (toronto)

Next years draft is rich in centers.

Maybe Danny plans to pick one up then.

It possibly could be the best move BUT i despise sitting through another tank job honestly.

Wasn't this the logic during the season though? They had half of the roster as power forwards and no moves happened. I mean I see the Celtics bringing back most of the same band from last year and seeing what will happen. Although it's fairly obviously what would occur they need to see what they have in KO and Sully at the 4. They have to get a rim protector and another star in order for Rondo to stay.

If you can't tell by now, the plan is to tank for one of the nice centers in the next draft.
