Talk around NBA is Heat plan on luring free agents other than own not coming together. Also told reported $$ on Bosh and Wade is incorrect.

Heat's Chris Bosh actually seeking deal worth $16-18 million per, source says. Hearing 5 years/$90 million, but told deal not done.

Aww so sorry Pat isn't able to lure the free agents with a bag of marbles and a mood ring.

Not many things I'd like to see much more than see this whole thing completely backfire.

A little Super-Friends backstabbing would be nice too.

and the truth comes out, what are the chances now that they can bring back the big 3 with possibly other players - Kyle Lowry, Pau Gasol?

Brings a tear to my eye. Beautiful

But seriously it makes sense. The media wants the 3 of them to get back together so badly they fail to discuss what they say about every other aging FA whose won a ring(s). Last big contract, get paid what you can.

Leave Bosh. It's the right thing to do

Bosh needs to stand up for himself. Him taking a huge paycut, then failing to win another championship would be a devastating blow

Bosh got paid 18 mill per year, and according to amico he wants 18 mill. Looks like bosh doesnt want to take any paycut whatsoever. Wonder if that dinner with lebron where lebron demanded they take a pay cut so he could take the max didn't go sell well.
also if bosh gets 16-18 mill, whats left for wade?

That's why all this salary talk (even Rondo's supposed request) is just hearsay until it's actually substantiated.  Maybe the organization put it out there to sway them to take a cut.

Plus I his endorsements aren't anywhere near James and Wade's to where they can afford to take a bigger paycut and recoup some of that money back.

Bosh and Wade were both going to make 20 million a year, so dropping down to 16 to 18 mil would be a pay cut.  But let's say both get 16 mil a year.  Add in LeBron at 20, Norris Cole at 2 mil, Haslem resigned for at least a mil a year and about a mil for Shabazz.

That's 56 million, about 7 million below the cap.

There are other sources that say that the paycut rumor is false.

There's no feasible way to get him to Boston, even if you wanted to.  Not sure he'd the first guy I'd want to rebuild around, regardless.

Bosh in Houston, though, if they can't land Melo?  With Harden and Dwight?  Doesn't that make a lot of sense for everybody involved?  Even moreso because Bosh is a Texas boy.
