They seem to want to move Jarrett Jack, so I think they keep Waiters.

There goes your Hayward pipedream. I'm really glad we didn't try to match any offer.

Per Windhorst: 'Cavs believed to be preparing a max offer sheet for restricted free agent Gordon Hayward'.

Let the madness begin.....

Does that mean they're going to put Wiggins at the 2? He's clearly a 3. OKC tried to put Durant at 2 and failed miserably.
No, that means they'll put Hayward at the 2, much like Utah did.

Hayward is too slow and un-athletic to be a 2. Good luck with that.

Hayward was the 11th ranked 2 in the league in PER.

Bradley was 19th.

Hayward was forced to play the "2" in Utah but no reason he couldn't play along side Wiggins or Waiters in Cleveland.

So Hayward is going to get $15M to start.  How does that make everyone feel about Bradley at $8M or Green at $9.445M?  Even if Hayward only got say $12M.  I think he has more overall value than Bradley but I am not sure he is any better than Green.

I think Green is going to seem like a very good value to other teams at that salary.

Hayward has a much better all around game than Green, and more important much more drive to win than Green.

That "drive to win" in Hayward did not show up in his stats, nor did it help Utah win games.
