I would like to get Hump back, but not for the price he previously was being paid.

He's very solid. Could be a very good 3rd big. Will rebound and play tough defense, score here and there. MLE sounds nice.
He's the only one on that list that I'm interested in keeping. I would sign him for the vet min, but maybe not for the MLE.

Pressey is a 3rd string PG roster filler.

Bayless is completely useless to this team now, and the backcourt has a logjam. Rondo, Bradley, Smart, Young, Pressey and maybe CJohnson is plenty.

The Celtics have Bird rights for Humphries, so they wouldn't be blowing the MLE to give him more than the minimum.

Good point. I am inclined to resign him then. He can start at center, given the lack of other options. Gortat is gone, Joel Anthony is a stiff, KO not ready, Sully out of position...yeah Hump is the guy in Year Two of Tankapalooza.

Humphries belongs on a contender.  He's a rotation player and excellent rebounder, but how does he fit in in a rebuilding situation.  Plus, I really don't want to hear, "Hump," on the air again haha.  "Hump, getting his hands in there."  "Tied up by Hump!" ;D

Bayless - No chance of sticking in the line-up. With all the guards we have I doubt he gets inked here;

Hump - A big question mark. Depends on Danny's mindset this season.
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;

I think Humphries is our best bet for a cheap free agent center.
Everyone else will want too much.

Kris Humphries is not a center. The time he spent at Center last season was out of necessity. No team would outright sign him to play center.

We did.

He was the 14th ranked center in PER last year....
