Smart + Harden would be an awesome backcourt
Smart + Harden + Jeff Green would be an awesome perimeter trio
That would be decent but not a championship trio and we would still need a center... Also the bigger question is: Are u willing to give up a top 5 PG + THREE FRICKING FIRST ROUNDERS FOR JAMES "NO DEFENSE" HARDEN???

So Who, can you part with three picks, or is two your limit.
I probably even do three, considering that Harden would be a big draw to free agents next year.

We could probably even ride Harden into some of wins  in an awful east this year.

Smart is good because he can guard either 1's or two's so you could really hide Harden behind the easier match up.  I
Lol ur actually serious?? Am i the only who thinks this is ridiculous or what??? Or is this some sort of prank??

I think harden is great but I don't think his play style currently would work for a top notch team.  Ball dominant sg who is not excelling at defense.
After watching San Antonio play "the beautiful game" I can't see giving that much for a better version of world be free

How about Rondo + Bass + Clippers 2015 for Harden AND Parsons?
Then in a related deal use the TPE on Lin...

Why HOU does it?
-Clear cap space by getting rid of Lin
-Parsons is redundant once Melo goes there
-Harden wouldnt fit well with Melo
-Get the PG they desperately need
-Bass provides quality production as a floor spacer at the PF spot allowing Howard to post up all he wants
-Keep Melo happy by getting him a selfless PG
-Rondo/Melo/Dwight would be one heck of a superteam

Why BOS does it?
-Get a wing scorer they desperately need who is under contract for the next few years
-Can put Smart back to his natural PG position and many PGs would be undersized compared to him...
-Smart would make up for Hardens defensive deficencies
-Boston get Parsons as another young piece and would also be under contract for a while due to a sign and trade
-Use the TPE before it expires to get a quality backup PG to backup Smart and he comes off the books next summer for Ainge to go after a free agent

We can also add the 2016 Brooklyn pick (top 10 protected) of they insist..

Still no unless we get back Parsons or something... We would be left shorthanded at SF and that is still an overpay for Harden...

Guys keep in mind this is just Harden.. Sure he is a superstar and all.. But none of u guys wouldve considered this package. For someone like Love who is a much better player than Harden!!

They landed Howard but Harden is one of the last allstar caliber players that I would want to play with.

So let me see.

Melo supposedly can't play defense, hence some don't want him

Love supposedly can't play defense, and some don't want him

and now Harden can't play defense, and no one would make this trade.

Curious as to who in the NBA meets everyones expectations?

Seriously. Smart + Harden + Jeff Green is not getting it done unless the 4+5 is better than Smart + Jeff Green.

After all, we already saw Westbrook + Harden + Freakin Durant not get it done. So unless Smart is Chris Paul II, no way.
