I personally want Bass gone the most, not because of anything he does or doesn't do. but he's likely one of our easiest tradable assets and he's not a great fit for this young squad. he'd be better on a veteran, contending team giving them quality limited mins.

I would have chosen Wallace but no smart team is taking him. Green would have been my choice but we do need a SF, at least he has a good game once a month.

Try to use Wallace, Bass, and picks to get upgrade in our Center and SF rotations. That would be my priority.

But of who should go, Bass is the guy. Redundant player in our roster with an expiring deal, should be easy to move.

Humphries

To lesser degree, Bayless.

Bass is third on my list.

I ignored those two... at this point, I figure them gone. If they're retained its ONLY because Danny didn't find anything out there worth signing. Don't think it's worth focusing them on this discussion in my opinion... didn't realize they were part of the poll.

Poor Bass. He always seems to be the odd man out, but he's my choice as well.

I just wish we could trade him for a center.

My guess is it's for punishment.

In that case, is one player enough?

isn't the point to get better?

Bass does nothing to do that, he's more valuable at this point as a tradable asset.

Green and Wallace are horrible for different reasons.

Bradley is always injured, takes bad shots.

Bayless is just a horrible tweener no better than Crawford.

if we can get better or get an upgrade on any of these players via trade or free agency shouldn't we do so?

great thought, but it might be easier for danny to cure cancer than use these two to achieve that goal. wallace was, and for at least one more year, is the poison pill the celtics swallowed to get all those draft picks from brooklyn. unless danny throws in other assets, who would take him on? and if danny throws in other assets, then what was the point of originally taking him?

i voted for wallace (or is it against wallace??) for the obvious reasons. but i have no hope ainge can actually move him this coming year. this is the start of year two of the 3 to 5 year rebuild. so we will probably just have to wait a while longer.

right now, such is life in the celtic universe.

I voted for Rondo. Not because I don't like him but because I think he's the only one of those options who could actually get us something useful. He's also an FA after this season and unless some miracle happens and we surround him with 2 other all stars, I doubt he stays. Also, I dont think it would be wise to give him a possible max deal if we arent going to compete.

Green is inconsistent and can opt out as well next season. Bass isnt a huge problem for me. He's making $6 mill and is serviceable. Wallace is here for at least another year before he becomes valuable as an expiring contract. Bradley isn't really worth much to many teams outside of contenders who might need a defensive stopper. Rondo could bring in a decent young prospect or 2 and maybe a couple of first round picks.

How could anyone not choose Green. I mean the guy is just not performing as expected.
