THe problem I see is that last year was our year to tank, everything worked out perfectly for us. Rondo sat out half the season, and didnt play back to backs. we lost many games we should have won and had the 3rd worst record of celtics history.
and all we got was the 6th pick

now, next year we should expect improvements from Sullinger/olynyk, rondo should be healthy and we have a 6th pick who could be a solid player. We might win 30-35 games.
not good enough to compete, but not bad enough to get a high lottery pick to land an impact player. This is the dilemma Danny is in.
The good news if those 3 things happen though is that our assets just got better if Sullinger improves on a solid sophmore campaign, Olynyk becomes a double double guy and smart looks like a solid young prospect.
