Miami is in desperate need of a PG and looking to trade up into the teens for Napier. Would the #26, #55, and Norris Cole be worth giving up the #17 pick for? The C's could use part of Courtney Lee's trade exception to make up for Cole's salary in the trade.

At #26, someone like KJ McDaniels, Jerami Grant, PJ Hairston, Jordan Adams, or maybe even James Young could be available.

Maybe we could talk the Heat into a future 1st instead of the #55.

Obviously my interest in this deal would be dependent on what happens in the first half of the draft. Holding onto Rondo and getting Smart or Exum would make Cole irrelevant and the trade wouldnt make sense. But if we go in another direction it could help.

[dang], I'm cheering for our local kid to be a local hero for the Cs, and if he gets drafted by the Heat, I'm going to hate him....

It's funny, I read "Shabazz" and think "Muhammad." Going to take some getting used to.

Although I suspect Napier will probably make a much bigger splash his rookie season than his namesake did last year.

I agree. And as a UConn alum and current grad student I would love for him to go to Boston. I would hate to see him on the Heat, but it would also be a good position for him. Immediate starter playing with stars.
