... or JR Giddens.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

With the 6th Pick in the 2014 NBA draft, The Boston Celtics select Walter Tavares of the Cape Verde Isles.

He might not become a top ten player as everyone was predicting a year ago, but there's no chance he's a bust.

That was a real head scratcher.

What was Danny thinking?

Danny's ego was over-inflated after winning banner 17 a couple weeks earlier. So he made a stupid promise to Giddens, probably assuming DeAndre Jordan and Chalmers would be picked in the teens as expected.

Let's hope he doesn't trade the farm for Love before the 6th pick, and then watch Embiid fall there and go on to a Tim Duncan like career.

Gerald Green. Darius Miles. Sure there's a chance he could bust

Those two weren't half the prospect Wiggins is.  Green played like he was mentally handicapped and Miles couldn't shoot and blew out his knee.

There it is!

My favorite Boston sports terminology.

The farm!

Don't want to give it up.

Gotta feed it, water it and harvest it like you would with any farm.

Probably a little too much Celtics Green for Danny.

At least, a red eyed Ainge, halfway through telling his cohorts exactly why if you put a hat and glasses on a dog it looks like it can drive a car, gets called up for the selection and goes "What? Pick? Another Pick? J.R.? Who Shot J.R.? J.R... Shooting Guard... Let's Take Him!" is the best explanation anyone is likely to get.

I personally enjoyed watching Stern getting booed at the draft.

Some good jokes to be had too.

Silver may yet get there some day.
