Danny's ego was over-inflated after winning banner 17 a couple weeks earlier. So he made a stupid promise to Giddens, probably assuming DeAndre Jordan and Chalmers would be picked in the teens as expected.

Let's hope he doesn't trade the farm for Love before the 6th pick, and then watch Embiid fall there and go on to a Tim Duncan like career.

At least, a red eyed Ainge, halfway through telling his cohorts exactly why if you put a hat and glasses on a dog it looks like it can drive a car, gets called up for the selection and goes "What?
