Green for Lin and Asik for PP exception. Houston Signs Melo
Beverly/Harden/Green/Melo/Howard

Obviously Green for Lin is bad, but the price you pay for Asik.
I think we'll be able to get Asik without giving up Green...if Houston is serious about going after some top shelf talent, then we're in the driver's seat.

I like the trade in the OP...Hornets will still get 2 quality players with Green and #17 (been rumored that Saric would fall that far, so maybe only one of those players going into next year will wear the uniform).

Rak
we can get Lin, Asik AND a first from Houston for far less than Green.  TPE & non-guaranteed contracts is all we'd need.  Houston would have to add something for helping them clear their cap for a big FA especially since Lin is vastly overpaid (as is Asik).

CHA is looking for outside shooting with that 9th pick which has been used on McBuckets or Staukas for the last month in just about every mock I've seen.

I think Green is the one Celtic that C's fans undervalue. He isn't a #1 scorer, and he struggled on a team with so few other good offensive options, but he is a solid starter with value on both ends of the court. I don't see #9 as a huge upgrade over #17 to be honest; to me it means getting Stauskas or Nurkic instead of Ennis or Capela, not a huge deal. Unless Smart or Gordon slips to 9 I'm pretty indifferent about this trade. However, I'd be a little surprised if Charlotte bites, as they will likely have someone they value highly at #9 (McDermott? Randle?)

I don't think Charlotte is getting quite enough in this deal, but who knows? It may be their option D or E. I would think they're hoping for someone more talented than Green if they trade their pick.

For the Celtics, it depends on who is there at 9. The pick would seem to have much more value if Randle, Smart, Gordon, or Embiid drops that far. After those 4 you get to the next tier unless you're thinking Elfrid Payton who I like.

Sorry, but I think the reverse. Jeff Green is actually a good player (sometimes). I also find his inconsistency aggravating, but come on! Bismack Biyombo?? Brendan Haywood?! The difference between 17 and 9 is not big enough, in my eyes, to merit losing Green.

Green is a starter! Bismack is a bench player with a deep voice. I mean, I love Bismack's personality, but he just is nowhere NEAR as good a basketball player as Green.

Biyambo and Haywood could hold down the center position down for a year while Embiid recovers.  The 9th pick could be used for an elite shooter and all around good SG in Stauskas.  I like it.
