Jabari Parker Prefers Bucks Over Cavaliers

A source says Jabari Parker strongly prefers to play for the Milwaukee Bucks, something that the Cleveland Cavaliers appear to be aware of.

Parker worked out for the Cavaliers on Friday and two sources said he seemed indifferent. One source thought Parker "tanked" the workout.

"Jabari wasn't himself," one source said. "It was clear we weren't his first option."

But the Cavaliers are still leaning toward taking Parker over Andrew Wiggins.

Why would you rather go to the bucks? I know Cleveland is a bad franchise, but at least they have some young talent he would fit with . Irving/ Parker is a pretty [dang] good duo. Then you have Waiters who has shown flashes of very good talent, Thompson is a good rotation player, Varajaeo also may have something left if he can stay healthy .

What do the Bucks have ? I like Giannis' potential, and Henson , but the rest of their roster is pretty bad . Mayo? Sessions? Knight? Illyasova ? Pretty much garbage

Milwaukee hasn't mismanaged their rookies nearly as badly as Cleveland has. They tried to build around Jennings and Bogut, but injuries scuttled that. They moved on pretty quickly. Cleveland tried to build around LeBron, badly, and is still suffering.

Milwaukee is also less than a 2 hour drive from Parker's hometown of Chicago.

This is unsurprising, Parker seemed disappointed in that video that was posted when Cleveland got the #1 overall. In that same video he predicted we would get the #1 overall and that he wanted to go #1. Too bad he is too nice of a guy to force his way to Boston, hes been my top choice since last year.

Cleveland already has two ball dominant chuckers who pretty much hate each other. Where would Parker fit in there as a ball dominant chucker?

Absolutely the #1 reason & I was going to post the same thing. I spent alot of summers in Chicago & Milwaukee & its really only a 1? hour drive. Family gets to support him plus he gets all the shots he wants & can be the marquee day 1. All-star year 1 in Milwaukee & lost in the sauce between Kyrie & Waiters & besides look how Bennett looked last year I'm Cleveland! I'd be hesitant also.

Fair or not Gilbert screwed himself with the Post Lebron aftermath statements. Who wants a underhanded backstabbing owner. Lebron screwed him yes!!! The bucks would actually have a nice young core with the addition of Parker. He at the 4 and Giannis at the 3 compliment each other well. Sanders and Henson both give high end rim protection. Knight and Mayo are not all star level player but both are solid combo guards. Parker can join this team and be the #1 option on offense from day one and try to build somthing there.

The Cavs have a mess of talent. Two ball dominate shoot first guards and two young lottery pick PFs. They really should draft Wiggins to play SG and move Waiters.
