Only odd part about the tweet is that it says they'd only pull the trigger on the "teed up deal" if they get LBJ or Melo.... otherwise, they are going to keep them.

They'll probably move Asik either way. He was unhappy with the Rockets last year.
Maybe, but it won't be one of the trades they have lined up here.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I will be surprised if they land the Queen or Melo.

If Bosh opts out (unlikely) I could see a S&T of Bosh to Houston for Lin and Asik.  Bosh gives Houston a terrific stretch 4 to put with DH and Howard and Lin/Asik fill the PG and C holes in Miami's line-up.

Doubt there is any hand shake deal; too much else happens in between for a GM to be so stupid to get locked into that.
Given that Houston has stated that via the media that if they don't land a "star" they plan to keep Asik/Lin to fortify their bench I don't think either side would consider such a handshake binding.
